Program beasiswa ini terbuka bagi para mahasiswa/i yang sudah menempuh semester 2 dan belum akan lulus tahun 2012.
Program SUSI kali ini fokus mengenai New Media dan Global Environmental Issues.

SUSI for Students Leaders on NEW MEDIA

Program Description
Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) for Student Leaders are intensive academic programs whose purpose is to provide groups of undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. The Study of the U.S. Institute on New Media in Journalism will train participants on how to gather and disseminate news and information across multiple platforms with an emphasis on interactive delivery systems. Participants will study freedom of the press and freedom of speech as defined by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, media law and ethics, and the role of
journalism in a democratic society. Participants will develop their leadership skills, learn to think analytically as journalists and embrace continuous learning in a diverse and fast-changing society. The Institute is tentatively scheduled from June 24 – July 29, 2012.
