With the opening of a new project in Central Kalimantan for Haju Road Project, we need an Engineer - Environmental  to join a team of HSE.
Reporting to HSE Superintendent, you will assist in developing, managing, implementing, auditing and reviewing Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and its documents / procedures consistently to meet ISO 14001 requirements, and develop, manage, communicate, implement, maintain, audit, review environmental and support their implementation for the Project..
To be successful in this role you will need to have bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering, with minimum of 3 (three) years' experience as Environmental Engineer in similar project. You should detail knowledge in Environmental regulations, ISO 140001 EMS, AMDAL, RKL & RPL, ; attention to detail; strong analytical; good communication; assertive; fluent in English both oral and written; good computer skills; work quickly and accurately; planned and target oriented; and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.

BESAR BEASISWA
Beasiswa ditetapkan sebesar Rp. 325.000,- (tiga ratus dua puluh lima ribu rupiah) per bulan terhitung mulai bulan Agustus 2012 s.d. Juli 2012 dan diberikan secara langsung tiap 3 (tiga) bulan/triwulan di muka dan akan dikirik melalui Perguruan Tinggi masing-masing Kelanjutan pemberian beasiswa bergantung pada Prestasi Mahasiswa di semester yang sedang berjalan dan Keputusan Penilaian Team YPKAAR
KEWAJIBAN PENERIMA BEASISWA
1. Memberikan copy Indeks Prestasi setiap semester kepada Bagian Kemahasiswaan untuk dikirim ke sekretariat YPKAAR secara kolektif
2. Membuat Tanda Terima Terima yang telah disediakan dimasing-masing perguruan Tinggi/Akademik untuk dikirimkan ke Sekretariat YPKAAR secara kolektif. Tidak adanya tanda terima dari penerima Beasiswa berakibat terputusnya pemberian Beasiswa untuk tahap berikutnya.

PAKLIM - Program Advis Kebijakan untuk  Lingkungan Hidup dan Perubahan Iklim Policy Advice for Environment and Climate Change is looking for 1 (one) qualified “Technical Project Professional”

Responsibilities

This senior level incumbent is responsible in for steering and coordinating capacity development approaches and activities to enhance the capacity of relevant institutions and key individuals (crossing both public sector and private sector) to design, anchor, and implement upscaling, replication, and dissemination on climate change mitigation mechanisms

Tasks of the Technical Advisor on industry mitigation models & policy 

• Developing climate change mitigation capacity development tools (e.g. energy management system based on ISO 50001) 
• Identifying and integrating lessons learned from pilot activities into policy and capacity development measures 
• Designing and managing a set of capacity development activities for ministerial staff, local governments’ staff and other relevant institutions, in conjunction with support from local and international short-term experts 
• Designing the approach and steps to integrate the climate capacity development tools and approach to relevant local services providers and other stakeholders 
• Ensuring and deepening continuous communication and exchange between the industry team, its public partners, and representatives of Indonesian industry 
• Using existing networks and experience to identify, involve and support additional actors from both public and private sectors towards the program’s objectives

Within this context, the incumbent carries the following tasks:

Managerial, Advisory, and Content-Related Tasks Scoping, defining, and aligning the activities of international and national consultants to develop new and/or customize existing tools and approaches to climate change mitigation mechanisms, suitable for national and local conditions and contexts Identification and engagement of target groups for capacity development including private sector actors with upscaling potential and staff across the Component’s counterparts (KLH, MoI, MEMR) and other relevant institutions Managing and contributing to capacity development activities including awareness training and workshops on climate change mitigation issues Cooperating with other components within PAKLIM, GIZ, other donors, and any other relevant organisations in order to develop and integrate lessons learned into development of effective capacity development tools and concepts Establishing criteria for local service providers engaged in the programme’s activities, and designing, supervising, and backstopping capacity building Steering facilitation processes (e.g. VPA working groups) Cooperating with International and Local consultants in studies related with climate change mitigation options for industrial sectors Advise and supervised the involved services providers in the capacity development activities Elaboration of lessons learned, participation in reflection, contribution to regular monitoring and reporting (to PAKLIM management, for BMZ)

Required entry qualifications and competencies

Formal education

• University degree in international relations, development, engineering, or environmental management

Professional experience

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including project management 
• Background in environmental management systems, energy/eco efficiency, environmental technolog 
• Experience in developing and facilitating capacity development programs, tools and training modules, ideally linked to the climate change topic (mitigation) 
• Strong knowledge of the working modes of the Indonesian public and private sectors 
• Networks into both public and private sectors in Indonesia regarding climate change issues

Other qualifications and skills

• Language skills: excellent spoken and written Indonesian and English 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and ability to utilize appropriate language/argumentation for different types of stakeholders, i.e. public partners, private sector partners, NGOs, donors, etc. 
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently while also having the skills and interests to work effectively within teams and network 
• Demonstrated ability to do conceptual work, critical thinking, successfully implement concepts, and be able to monitor, adjust, and report on results achieved 
• Have a personal preference and orientation towards implementation

Beasiswa S1 dan S2 Total E dan P Indonesia

Total Scholarship bagi mahasiswa S1

Beasiswa bagi S1 diperuntukkan bagi 20 mahasiswa S1 dari UI, ITB, UGM, dan ITS dengan berbagai jurusan berbeda. Tiap semester, mahasiswa terpilih akan memperoleh dana pendidikan sebesar Rp 4 juta per semester selama satu tahun.

Adapun persyaratannya adalah sebagai berikut:

• Memiliki kemampuan Bahasa Inggris yang baik.

Total E dan P Indonesia juga memberikan beasiswa S2 dalam program Master Profesional Teknik Perminyakan ITB yang berkolaborasi dengan IFP School (French Institute of Petroleum School).

• Mahasiswa jurusan Teknik atau MIPA semester 8 atau yang telah lulus semester sebelumnya

An excellent opportunity for Supervisor - Environmental has arisen to join our Project Service Dept team. Residentially based in Sangatta Mine Project and reporting to Senior Environmental Engineer. You will ensure to supervise the environmental field activities.
The scopes of your role will include but not limited to ensure Actively communicate with KPC environmental Department, BU Environmental Department  in order to get information on the rehabilitation management requirement update; Actively communicate with KPC environmental, mining operation and pit engineering team in regard to the topsoil management; Monitoring and controlling any erosion and sediment control structure; Implement water treatment at mining operation e.g pH adjustment, TSS reduction and any other treatment in regard to the water quality; Manage Environmental field team; Educate the Environmental field team; Report any breach and incident and NCR .
To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum Diploma, experience minimum of 2 years experience in similar role and administration duties. Having strong motivation, able to lead, organize, supportive, communicative, and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.
